The new Albignasego Municipal Theatre was created with the aim of promoting the city’s cultural growth and becoming a landmark for the entire metropolitan area.
Covering an area of about 1,500 square metres and offering 432 seats, the building’s architectural design draws inspiration from the traditional rural “casoni” that once characterized the southern Padua landscape. In addition to the main auditorium, the theatre will feature a multifunctional foyer, a rehearsal room, and a bar with large windows and an outdoor terrace overlooking the park — open year-round during the day to serve both park visitors and local residents.
As planned in the original project, the building will be located within the Parco della Costituzione, the city’s new large green area — an urban park of 25,000 square metres with a growing woodland and sports facilities.
In harmony with the surrounding natural environment, the theatre will be built using eco-friendly materials, in line with principles of sustainability and landscape integration.
Designed to host concerts, theatrical performances, conferences, and large events, the new Municipal Theatre will become a driving force for cultural and social development in Albignasego and throughout the region.
For this project, Sebino Chiusure supplied a wide range of doors designed to combine functionality, aesthetics, and acoustic performance.
Among the solutions provided are flush soundproof doors with 43 dB insulation, available both in an elegant matte lacquered oxide red finish (RAL 3009) and in a vertically grained Toulipier wood veneer that enhances the natural beauty of timber.
The installation also includes standard flush doors in both deep black (RAL 9005) and warm Toulipier finishes, as well as flush EI 60 GD fire doors featuring a dual finish — Toulipier on one side and matte polyurethane deep black lacquer (RAL 9005) on the other.
