The Reggio Calabria Courthouse is a judicial complex under construction in the Spirito Santo neighborhood, next to the Centro Direzionale (Business Center). It is designed to house the Courthouse, the Prosecutor’s Office, the Juvenile Court, the Justice of the Peace, and the local Judicial Police.
The complex will have a total area of approximately 35,000 m², comprising courtrooms, court offices, an auditorium, and underground parking. The building includes a large civic plaza covered by steel and aluminum pergolas, designed to control light and ventilation and reduce energy consumption.
Sebino Chiusure supplied EI 120 structures for this facility, certified by FSC MIX 70%. The structures consist of a double-leaf door in Dark Tanganyika Walnut, glazed at the top and solid at the bottom, featuring bas-relief work with a wooden panel, edge trim, and kick plate.
The structures also feature two glazed side panels crafted like the doors, and three glazed transom windows.
