The former Cinecittà theater in Piazza del Popolo in Chivasso is preparing for a rebirth. Renovation work is progressing rapidly, and thanks to funding from the National Recovery and Resilience Plan (PNRR), the city will finally be able to reclaim one of its iconic sites, unused for years but still alive in the collective memory.
The restoration and enhancement project involves a total investment of nearly €3 million, the result of the Municipality of Chivasso’s participation in the Metropolitan City of Turin’s call for proposals as part of the Integrated Urban Regeneration Plans.
The long-abandoned spaces are about to be transformed into a modern theater seating approximately 240, complete with an internal stage and an outdoor area for summer events.
For this project, Sebino Chiusure supplied various types of doors, including: REI 60 single- and double-leaf doors, finished on both sides with pantographs to form three panels per side, lacquered in brown; standard solid doors in light beige; standard doors pantographed to form three panels on both sides lacquered in light beige and sliding doors with the same workmanship and finish.
