The Berzieri Thermal Baths represent one of the greatest masterpieces of 20th-century spa architecture. Built between 1914 and 1923 based on designs by architects Ugo Giusti and Giulio Bernardini, with the valuable collaboration of sculptor and painter Galileo Chini, they stand out as a unique example of Art Déco applied to thermalism. The decorative richness of both the exteriors and interiors blends Deco, Liberty, and Oriental influences, creating an atmosphere of extraordinary elegance and charm.
Inaugurated on May 27, 1923, the Berzieri complex is today considered a true gem of Art Déco and an international symbol of spa culture. In 2021, the building was acquired by Cassa Depositi e Prestiti and entrusted to QC Terme for management over a 20-year period.
The restoration project involves the recovery of frescoes, decorations, and original flooring, restoring the spaces to their historical beauty and transforming them into welcoming and functional environments. The imposing monumental entrance will lead visitors through a journey of finely decorated rooms, relaxation areas, saunas, and bio-saunas.
The major innovation will be the creation of a new 9,000 m² spa, spread across the Berzieri Palace (6,400 m²) and the former Thermal Power Plant (2,600 m²). The facility will feature nine pools, including a spectacular panoramic rooftop infinity pool, offering an unparalleled wellness and relaxation experience.

REI 60 and REI 120 single-leaf doors with glazed transoms in low relief were also supplied. All doors were designed to echo the style of the historical doors present throughout the complex.
Another project that confirms Sebino Chiusure as a leading provider of doors for prestigious locations, adding to the company’s numerous historical references.
