Villa Greppi is a historic neoclassical villa located in Monticello Brianza. The building incorporates an older 16th-century residence, purchased in 1811 by Count Giacomo Greppi. Originally the center of a large agricultural estate, it became during the 19th century a prestigious summer residence for the Greppi family, joining the tradition of the Lombard ville di delizia (country villas of leisure).
The villa is surrounded by an extensive park that combines an Italian-style garden with an English landscape garden, featuring monumental trees and numerous annexed rural buildings, including a granary and stables.
After passing through various inheritance-related changes during the 20th century, the property was donated to the Church and later acquired by public institutions. In the 1970s, it housed an experimental school; today, it serves as the headquarters of the Consorzio Brianteo Villa Greppi, which promotes cultural events, exhibitions, conferences, workshops, and initiatives related to the history and heritage of the Brianza area.
As part of the building’s upgrading and enhancement works, Sebino Chiusure supplied several types of fire-rated doors and fire-resistant frames. These include EI 120 double-leaf doors, featuring low-relief detailing on both sides and characterized by two recessed panels per leaf, finished in RAL 7047 grey lacquer. The supply also includes EI 120 double-leaf doors of the same type and finish, distinguished solely by the low-relief workmanship, which creates three recessed panels per leaf. Completing the installation are EI 120 glazed arched fanlights with applied glazing bars, EI 120 rectangular glazed partitions, and small EI 120 fanlights.
